After WWII, Pat Morelli returned home and decided to go into business with his nephew. M&M Asphalt was formed. After a few years, the two parted ways and Pat decided to start his own company, Suburban Asphalt. He continued the business until 1982 when his son, and current owner, Tom Morelli took over. Since 1982, Tom has worked extremely hard to grow the business and expand the types of work performed while also maintaining Pat’s vision of quality and value. The company incorporated in 1987 and became Suburban Asphalt Concrete Co. Inc. The work includes asphalt, all types of concrete, brick, cobblestone, stoops, steps, patios, veneers, pavers, bluestone and cultured stone. A third generation has already started as Tom’s youngest son, Jason has completed his Degree of Masonry from the Pennsylvania College of Technology and is now a full time employee.
